World Series of Fighting Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
World Series of Fighting on Thursday morning announced that it
has acquired a new chief financial officer.
Citing his decades of experience in the industry with the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball as CFO/VP of finance, as well as tenures with IMG Artists and Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, WSOF has brought on Barry Pincus as its CFO.
“Barry is a terrific addition to the World Series of Fighting management team, bringing a wealth of knowledge and financial experience, as well as a dynamic approach to brand development to our growing sports property,” said WSOF CEO Carlos Silva.
World Series of Fighting 23 is the promotion’s next event, and will be headlined by a lightweight rematch pitting champion Justin Gaethje against Luis Palomino. It goes down Friday, Sept. 18 from Comerica Theater in Phoenix, Ariz. The bill airs live on NBCSports.
