MISSISSAUGA, Ontario -- A welterweight main event between Marius Zaromskis and Jordan Mein will go down as planned on Friday, as both fighters hit their marks at Thursday's weigh-ins.

Zaromskis tipped the scales at 169.2 pounds, while Mein weighed in at 169.8 for The Score Fight Network's inaugural independent promotion.

The current Dream welterweight champion, Zaromskis is known for his powerful punches and kicks that have put down many a man. However, the Lithuanian has gone through a rough patch as of late. Zaromskis had a five-fight winning streak snapped last year when he was knocked out by Nick Diaz. He followed that loss with another knockout defeat, this time falling to Evangelista Santos. After a bizarre no-contest with Waachiim Spiritwolf in November, Zaromskis returned to his winning ways in December by defeating Japanese MMA pioneer Kazushi Sakuraba via gruesome TKO.

Mein rides a four-fight winning streak heading into his showdown with Zaromskis, with “Young Gun” earning a pair of victories over UFC veterans in the process. Following an August defeat at the hands of Jason High, Mein rebounded with a win over Chase Degenhardt to close out 2010. The welterweight has gone undefeated in 2011 thus far, racking up wins over Joe Riggs, Keto Allen and most recently Josh Burkman.

The event, going down from the Hershey Center in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, will also feature a middleweight conflict between UFC veterans Joe Doerksen (185.6) and Luigi Fioravanti (185.2), as well as a light heavyweight contest pitting reigning KSW light heavyweight champion Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou (205) against Roy Boughton (205).

Additionally, the event will showcase a bevy of Canadian talent, as Antonio Carvahlo (144) meets Doug Evans (145), Adrian Wooley (135.8) battles Nick Mamalis (136) and Kurt Southern (156) toes the line against Jorge Britto (155.4).
