War Machine’s time on the run from law enforcement authorities has reached its end.

According to an advisory from the Simi Valley (Calif.) Police Department, the fighter formerly known as Jonathan Koppenhaver was arrested by the United States Marshal Service and local police at an Extended Stay America Hotel in Simi Valley, Calif., at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Friday afternoon.

The advisory states that Koppenhaver was found in his room and arrested without incident. The U.S. Marshal Service then turned Koppenhaver over to the Simi Valley Police Department for booking on his arrest warrant from Nevada. He was transported to the Ventura County Jail.

Koppenhaver previously lived in Simi Valley, a fact which aided U.S. Marshals in locating his whereabouts. Inside his hotel room was “a small quantity of cash and some pizza.”

Earlier this week, the Las Vegas Police Department issued seven arrest warrants for the capture of Koppenhaver for his role in an alleged assault of ex-girlfriend Christy Mack and another victim, both of whom were sent to the hospital with “substantial injuries.” They were as follows:

- one count battery resulting in substantial bodily harm
- one county battery by strangulation
- two counts battery with substantial bodily harm
- one count open and gross lewdness
- one count assault with deadly weapon
- one count coercion/threat with force

Bellator MMA released the welterweight fighter from his contract last Friday shortly after he became a suspect in the case.
