With World Series of Fighting 35 just around the corner, there have been a few hiccups along the way but nothing the Las Vegas-based promotion couldn’t handle in the moments leading up to Friday’s official weigh-ins.

For starters, Eli Wynter has suffered an ankle injury in his final pre-fight preparations and had to withdraw from his fight with Phil Hawes. World Series of Fighting officials couldn’t lock in a last-minute replacement for Hawes, thus scratching the fight entirely. Aside from that unfortunate circumstance and a minor reshuffling of the preliminary card, it was all systems go and WSOF 35 will unfold as expected.

Heavyweight champion Blagoy Ivanov will put his belt on the line against Ultimate Fighting Championship veteran Shawn Jordan in the main event and while neither man had to endure the sort of weigh-cutting pressures of the fighters in the lower weight classes, the two came in on point, ready for battle. Jordan was the first of the featured fighters to tip the scale and he came in at a robust 264 pounds. Ivanon looked poised to retain his title and weighed in at 251 pounds.

The WSOF 35 co-feature will see Lance Palmer defend his featherweight crown against Andre Harrison. Both men came in on the money; Palmer and Harrison both scaled in at 144 pounds.

Finally, the promotion’s vacant bantamweight title is up grabs as Bekbulat Magomedov and Donavon Frelow will lock horns to see who will walk away with it. Frelow checked in at 132.5 pounds while Magomedov tipped the scale at 134.5.

WSOF 35 will begin the day on www.wsof.com with the preliminary card, which goes live at 8:15 p.m. ET/5:15 p.m. PT inside Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, N.Y. The action will then switch over to NBCSN for the main card, which goes live at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT.
