WSOF 32 Gets New Main Event with Marlon Moraes-Josh Hill Bantamweight Title Rematch

World Series of Fighting has added a second title fight to WSOF 32, as a bantamweight championship rematch between Marlon Moraes and Josh Hill will now headline the July 30 event.

WSOF officials on Tuesday announced Moraes-Hill 2 as the show’s new headliner, replacing the previously announced main event, a featherweight title rematch pitting Alexandre Almeida against Lance Palmer. The event, which airs on NBCSN from Xfinity Arena in Everett, Washington, will also feature a lightweight duel between adopted brothers Caros Fodor and Ben Fodor.

Moraes and Hill first met 17 months ago in Edmonton, Alberta, where Moraes defended his title for the first time with a five-round unanimous decision over Hill in the main event of WSOF 18.

Since then, Moraes has made two more successful defenses of the WSOF 135-pound crown, submitting Sheymon da Silva Moraes in August 2015 and, most recently, chopping down Joseph Barajas with leg kicks in February. Hill, whose only loss in 15 pro fights came against Moraes, has gone on a four-fight winning streak since the defeat. The Canadian kicked off his 2016 campaign by submitting Bendy Casimir in April.
