The Omaha-based mixed martial arts promotion announced the news on Thursday. Victory FC 47 will be headlined by a middleweight title fight between Anthony Smith and Elvis Mutapcic and will air exclusively on Fight Pass beginning at 10 p.m. ET/7 p.m. PT. Additional bouts will be announced in the coming weeks.

"When I launched my company in 2010, the ultimate goal was to formalize a working relationship with the UFC," said Ryan Stoddard, owner and president of Victory FC. "…This is a significant day for Victory and a historic day for our athletes, who now have access to a fan base of millions in over 176 countries worldwide. My deepest thanks go out to UFC for giving Victory and its athletes this incredible opportunity.”

Victory FC’s history extends beyond Stoddard, as the organization has held 61 events since its inception in 2002. Notable fighters such as Benson Henderson, Jake Ellenberger, Travis Browne and Spencer Fisher have competed for the promotion over the years.

Smith, who has competed in the UFC, Strikeforce and Bellator during his professional tenure, enters the matchup on a six-fight winning streak, including a first-round stoppage of Brock Jardine at RFA 30 this past September. A veteran of the World Series of Fighting and Maximum Fighting Championship promotions, Mutapcic has won seven of his last eight including notable triumphs against Sam Alvey and Cezar Ferreira.
