Update: 8 Bouts Set for Bellator 46 on June 25

The preliminary card for Bellator Fighting Championships 46 is nearly complete, as eight total bouts are now set for the June 25 event.

Three bouts currently comprise the show’s undercard. As previously reported by Sherdog.com, former women’s 115-pound tournament competitors Jessica Aguilar and Carla Esparza will lock horns at the event, which emanates from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Fla.

Additionally, Sherdog.com confirmed Wednesday that King of the Cage heavyweight titleholder Tony Johnson Jr. will meet once-beaten Derrick Lewis on the bill, while local middleweight Josh Samman will take on UFC veteran Dan Cramer (Pictured). Also at 185 pounds, onetime EliteXC talent Moyses Gabin squares off with Floridian David Baggett. MMAJunkie.com first reported the bouts.

Sherdog.com has also confirmed that Florida-based featherweight Matt McCook will see action at the event, though his opponent is currently unknown.

The first of the promotion’s planned “Summer Series” trilogy, Bellator 46 airs live on MTV2 and features all four quarterfinals in Bellator’s latest 145-pound tournament. Vying for a shot at current Bellator champ Joe Warren’s 145-pound strap will be Marlon Sandro, Pat Curran, Ronnie Mann and Nazareno Malagarie, as they toe the line against Genair da Silva, Luis Palomino, Adam Schindler and Jacob Devree, respectively.
