UFC on Fox 8 Medical Suspensions: Headliner John Moraga, 6 Others Out Up to 6 Months
UFC on Fox 8 main-eventer John Moraga could be out up to six months after his loss to flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson on Saturday night.
The Washington State Department of Licensing verified with Sherdog.com on Tuesday that Moraga has been suspended for 180 days unless he is cleared by a physician. Regardless, he must spend at least 30 days on the shelf. Meanwhile, Johnson received a seven-day suspension following his fifth-round submission win at KeyArena in Seattle.

Just prior to that contest, Robbie Lawler knocked out Bobby Voelker with a violent, second-round head kick that prompted regulators to hand Voelker a 180-day suspension pending a medical evaluation. Though he may return to the cage earlier if cleared, Voelker must serve a minimum suspension of 60 days.
Michael
Chiesa, Danny
Castillo, Mac Danzig,
Ed
Herman and Aaron Riley
were also handed 180-day suspensions, while Trevor
Smith and Germaine
de Randamie were suspended indefinitely. As with Moraga and
Voelker, the aforementioned competitors may all return to action
sooner if cleared by a doctor.
