Ultimate Fighting Championship officials on Tuesday announced the addition of the lightweight tilt to the lineup for UFC on Fox 17 on Dec. 19 in Orlando, Fla.

Minnesota native Lentz, 31, will fight a few hours away from his adopted home of Coconut Creek, Fla., where he trains at the famed American Top Team. “The Carny” lost his last outing at featherweight when he was submitted by Charles Oliveira on May 30 in the third round of their long-awaited rematch. Lentz competed primarily as a lightweight from the start of his career in 2005 until 2012, when he transitioned to featherweight following a pair of UFC losses.
Castillo, who turned 36 today, could be facing a must-win scenario, as the Team Alpha Male fighter enters the bout on a three-fight losing skid. “Last Call” dropped a split decision to Jim Miller on July 25, though many fans and pundits believed Castillo deserved the judges’ nod.
