A welterweight pairing pitting Kenny Robertson against George Sullivan has been added to UFC on Fox 15 “Rockhold vs. Machida” on April 18.
Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced the fight through Fox Sports on Wednesday. The bout joins a card that features a pivotal middleweight matchup between Luke Rockhold and Lyoto Machida. The event takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
Robertson, 30, is coming off a resounding knockout win against Sultan Aliev at UFC on Fox 14. The victory was Robertson’s third straight and pushed his record with the Las Vegas-based promotion to 4-3. Robertson has also competed for Bellator MMA.
Sullivan has not suffered a loss since 2011, when he dropped a unanimous decision to Elijah Harshbarger in the main event of Ring of Combat 35. Since joining the UFC last year, the New Jersey native has defeated Mike Rhodes and Igor Araujo.
