Round 1

Gary Copeland will be the third man in the cage for this flyweight affair. They touch gloves and Almabaev opens with a low kick right away. Almabaev stays on the outside and attacks with an inside leg kick. Almabaev steps in and connects with an overhand right. Osborne shakes it off and looks for openings to attack. Almavaev loads up for another overhand right and shoots for a single leg takedown, planting Osbourne on his seat in the center of the cage. Almabaev pushes Osbourne to his back and settles into his opponent’s full guard. Almabaev works to create space for ground-and-pound, landing the occasional punch or elbow. Osbourne works his legs up and briefly threatens with a triangle before absorbing a solid left hand. Almabaev is content to work inside guard while methodically landing punches with either hand. Osbourne brings his leg up again, but Almabaev clears the legs and passes to side control. Almabaev lands an elbow that Osbourne doesn’t like, and he transitions to a modified guillotine choke. Osbourne survives until the horn. It's noteworthy that Almabaev is bleeding, presumably from an elbow Osbourne landed from his back.

Round 2

Almabaev throws a head kick before shooting for a takedown. Osbourne does a good job using the fence to remain upright before separating from the clinch. Almabaev is throwing big strikes: a head kick, an overhand right and then a spinning kick, which is followed by a failed double leg. Almabaev goes for a couple low kicks, then gets deep on a body lock and trips Osbourne to the canvas. Almabaev works his way to Osbourne’s back. Osbourne gets to a knee before his foe jumps on his back and pulls him down with a body triangle in place. Almabaev lands some punches while hunting for the rear-naked choke. Osbourne briefly has wrist control before Almabaev deftly slides his right arm around his opponent’s jaw. The choke isn’t completely under Osbourne’s neck, but the squeeze is tight. Osbourne has no choice but to tap after a few seconds of resistance.

Woodson kicks the body, then lands a jab. Woodson stops Buzukja with a stiff jab. Buzukja follows a body kick with a right hand and they clinch against the fence. Woodson turns his foe around and drops for a takedown. Buzukja denies the shot and reverses for a takedown attempt of his own. Buzukja brings a knee to the midsection before Woodson frees himself. Buzukja pressures with a low kick and a right to the body. Woodson responds with a rapid fire combination to the body. Now Woodson is finding a rhythm, and he lands another multi-punch combination near the fence before Buzukja shifts gears for a takedown try. Woodson breaks free. They trade before the horn, with a body shot from Buzukja being the most notable offense.

Round 2

Buzukja pressures with punches but can’t find the range. Woodson with a front kick and a jab. Woodson lands a clean 1-2 moments later. Buzukja lands a right near the fence then changes levels. Woodson defends with his back to the cage, then spins the Longo-weidman product around. A pair of knees and a flurry of body shots hurts Buzukja, and Woodson stays on the assault before grounding his adversary. Woodson punches the ribs and hunts for a choke with Buzukja in a crouched position. Woodson switches from an anaconda to a guillotine choke, but thus far Buzukja is defending. Woodson continues to alternate chokes, but Buzukja is wise to it and works his way up. Woodson drags him back down immediately. Buzukja defends with a kimura, but Woodson spins around and hunts for a kimura of his own in north-south. Buzukja frees himself but he finds himself ensnared in a front headlock. Woodson transitions to the back, but he falls to his back, which allows Buzukja to tee off with a salvo of punches. Woodson returns to his feet and urges his opponent onward. Buzukja attacks again before the horn, but nothing substantial lands.

Round 3

Back at range, Woodson sticks a jab and a stiff combination. Buzukja moves forward and eats a left hand. Woodson lands a combination to the body and briefly gets a takedown. Buzukja scrambles up and drives Woodson into the fence. Woodson deftly transitions to Buzukja’s back, but he can’t fully take back control. Woodson backs away from the clinch and throws a jab in the center of the Octagon. Buzukja lands a body shot but eats a hook in return. Buzukja misses on some punches and looks for a takedown enar the fence. Woodson reverses and drags his foe down. He laces up one leg and makes Buzukja carry his weight. Buzukja gets to a knee, then stands. Woodson snaps him back down with a front headlock. Buzukja defends against potential chokes on all fours, then stands. Woodson punishes him with a knee as they stand and then a clean right lands. Buzukja is still moving forward despite absorbing plenty of punishment. A front kick by Woodson lands clean on his foe’s chin. Woodson steps in and lands a nice knee to the chin, then dodges a Buzukja offering before the final horn.

Durden follows his man to the mat, moving from half guard to the back. Hadley looks to control the wrists, and Durden spins around to side control. The American stays heavy from this position. Hadley works his way up in a scramble, but Durden dumps him on his back immediately. Durden stands, and Hadley hustles his way up. The flyweights trade in the pocket before Durden shoots for a takedown. Hadley locks in a guillotine on the way down. Fortunately for Durden, the choke comes in the last 10 seconds and he survives.

Round 2

Durden changes levels on a Hadley kick and grounds his man within the first 15 seconds. Hadley looks to create a scramble and he’s up in short order. They trade punches before Durden steps in with a pair of heavy elbows. Durden has a takedown denied and Hadley turns him around into the fence. Hadley shoots for a takedown but Durden sprawls. Durden locks in an anaconda. Hadley defends and gives a thumbs up before scrambling to take Durden’s back. Hadley has a triangle now, and he punches away at Durden’s head. Hadley looks to isolate the arm and he goes belly down. Durden is in no man’s land. He’s grimacing as Hadley works to extend the arm. Hadley adjusts the hold, torquing the arm with the triangle locked in. Somehow, Durden frees himself and ends the frame landing a series of right hands from top position.

Round 3

It’s up for grabs in this round. Hadley lands a left following a Durden body kick. A Durden right finds the mark, and an ensuing inside leg kick stumbles Hadley. Another right gets through for Durden. A left from Hadley gets through the guard of Durden. Hadley steps in with another left. they trade low kicks and Durden sticks his right hand yet again. A 1-2 connects for Durden. Hadley changes levels for a takedown, but Durden sprawls nicely. Durden thinks about a choke with Hadley on his knees, but the Englishman’s submission defense is solid. Durden stands and hovers over his foe, kicking at Hadley’s legs. Hadley shoots for a takedown as he stands but Durden sprawls well. They’re in a stalemate near the fence, but Durden powers his foe to his back with less than 20 seconds to go. With Hadley clinging to a leg, Durden pounds away with left hands, urging on the Nashville crowd. The horn sounds and Durden stands and flips the bird at his opponent.

Jackson with a nice front kick followed by a stiff straight right. Jackson connects with a left hook-right hand combination. He is piecing Quarantillo up, landing multi-punch combinations. Jackson closes the distance and shoves Quarantillo into the fence. Jackson drops down, connects his hands and pulls Quarantillo off the fence for a takedown. Quarantillo briefly threatens with a gogoplata but Jackson is too skilled to be trapped. Jackson works from half guard, landing a shoulder strike. Jackson passes to mount, so Quarantillo gives up his back. Jackson gets a body triangle locked in as the combatants are seated against the fence. Quarantillo tries to stand with Jackson attached to his back, but he can’t shake free. Quarantillo is able to escape, but Jackson lands a body kick just as his opponent stands. The round ends with the featherweights on their feet.

Round 2

Quarantillo lands a low kick but Jackson answers with a punching combination. Quarantillo goes back to the low kick, then punches his way into takedown range. Jackson frees himself and shoots for a takedown of his own, landing a knee to the midsection in close. They separate again before Jackson shoots for a takedown. Quarantillo remains upright and turns him into the fence as they move across the cage. Quarantillo punches the body in the clinch and Jackson responds with knees. Jackson tries for another takedown, and he presses Quarantillo into the cage. Jackson drops low and Quarantillo defends with a guillotine. They separate again and Quarantillo lands a jab. Quarantillo goes to the clinch and lands a knee and uppercut. Quarantillo is warming up now, as he lands solid offense in the clinch. Jackson lands a perfectly-timed takedown off a Quarantillo low kick. Jackson passes to side control and Quarantillo attempts to scramble up. More scrambling ensues, with Quarantillo hunting for a brabo choke. Quarantillo gives it up and they stand to the clinch. Quarantillo uppercuts the body and Jackson fires back with a knee. They trade punches at range, but Quarantillo is the one landing, including a right that draws a gasp from the crowd.

Round 3

Jackson attempts to clinch after landing a right but Quarantillo shucks him off and connects. Quantillo lands multiple punches, then clinches and punishes Jackson with a knee up the middle. Quarantillo defends against a Jackson takedown, getting underhooks and circling away. Jackson shoots again right away, but Quarantillo stuffs it again. They continue to do battle in the clinch, with Quarantillo peppering the body with short shots. Quarantillo finds the mark with a nice combination. He’s got Jackson reeling near the fence with punches. Jackson recovers and lands a solid right hand. Quarantillo wades forward for a takedown and Jackson knees him in the gut. Quarantillo answers with a knee and a right in the clinch. Quarantillo punches his way back into the clinch and lands a knee on the exit. They trade again, but it’s Quarantillo landing more effectively. Just when it seems like Jackson is fading, he lands a head kick. Quarantillo eats it. They clinch again, but this time, Jackson successfully executes a single leg takedown. Quarantillo is threatening with a gogoplate, then switches to an omaplata. Jackson frees himself and maintains top position. Quarantillo hustles to his feet. They have one more furious exchange, with Quarantillo landing with more volume.

Wells stays heavy on top, grinding his forearm into his foe’s face. As Harris attempts to stand, Wells secures a brabo choke. They roll over into the center of the cage, with Harris on his back now. The choke is not properly applied, but Wells continues to drive his shoulder. Wells adjusts the position, and now he has a ninja choke. Wells has a tight squeeze, but Harris defends with his back to the mat. Harris scrambles to his feet and Wells drives him into the fence. Wells drops for a single leg, adjusts and connects his hands before pulling Harris off the cage and planting him on the canvas. Wells has Harris mounted near the fence, controlling the wrist of his opponent. Wells goes back to half guard and tees off with left hands. He ends the round with more left hands on his grounded foe.

Round 2

Wells steps in with an uppercut-left hand combination. A spinning attack from Wells misses the mark, but he shoves Harris to the mat and takes top position. He lands some solid shots and then puts Harris back on the mat. Harris scoots to a seated position with his back to the fence, but Wells is still heavy on top. Wells passes to mount, then returns to half guard. Harris is being overpowered here. Every time he posts, Wells lifts the legs and adjusts his position. Wells is back in half guard, landing the occasional right hand. Wells continues to grind away, but Harris can do no better than a seated position. Wells puts him on his back and drops some heavy elbows. Wells’ offense has been more forceful from inside Harris’ full guard, as he ends the round with more solid elbows.

Round 3

Wells comes out winging heavy leather, but Harris is avoiding the majority of it. Wells uses his punches to shoot for a takedown. Harris defends with a choke and they separate. Harris lands a nice punch to the body, but Wells shoots a powerful takedown. Harris defends well and goes to the mat, locking in an anaconda choke in the process. For a moment it doesn’t seem like Wells is in danger, but Harris flips him to his back and lifts his foe’s head. Harris maintains the grip and Herzog steps in to take a look. Wells is unconscious and this one, along with his four-bout UFC winning streak, is over. A nice comeback victory for Harris.

Kevin MacDonald will ref this bantamweight pairing. Phillips opens with a leg kick and a 1-2. Barcelos blocks a body kick. A right connects for the Brazilian. Phillips with a stiff jab and then he partially lands an overhand right. Barcelos catches a low kick and drives Phllips into the fence. Phillips jumps guard and hunts for an armbar. He kicks Barcelos off him and hustles back up. Barcelos with a right uppercut. They trade, and Barcelos eats a head kick but catches the leg. Phillips frees himself from the body lock. Phillips moves well, landing a 1-2. Phillips has a takedown stuffed and Barcelos tags him on the exit. Moments later, a right puts Barcelos on his seat. Barcelos recovers quickly, however. Barcelos is cut on the bridge ofhis nose. Barcelos stalks his man against the fence and lands some combinations. They tie up and Barcelos is still throwing heavy leather. Phillips fires back. Barcelos flicks out a nice jab then backs up Phillips with some heavy hooks. They clinch and Phillips shoves him off. Phillips lands a glancing head kick that Barcelos catches. They continue to trade until the horn.

Phillips tries to use a kimura to defend, but Barcelos maintains his grip. He lifts Phillips and dumps him on the mat. Phillips rolls for a kneebar in a scramble and that allows him to stand. Phillips flicks out a couple of jabs. Barcelos pressures forward and they trade knees in close. Phillips fires off another jab and misses a combination at the horn.

Barcelos stalks him and lands a jab. Barcelos just misses an uppercut through the guard of his foe. A front kick down the middle lands for Barcelos and he pressures with punches. Phillips lands a counter right in response. Barcelos shoots for a takedown against the fence and briefly pulls him down. Barcelos releases the body lock and deftly throws a kick upstairs. That draws a smile from Phillips before the horn.

Klein flurries with a series of hammerfists. Bahamondes stands with less than a minute to go. The Chile native is bloodied from a Klein elbow. Bahamondes moves in with a combination but misses the mark. Bahamondes jumps in but Klein steps off at an angle and lands a combination.

Round 2

Both men swing and miss, but Boser lands a kick after the exchnage. Boser ties up with Camur and presses him into the cage. Boser lands a punch on the break. Camur lands a jab but a Boser left stings Camur. The Canadian lands punches in bunches, but Camur keeps his cool. Another big right lands for Boser. Boser moves into the clinch and connects with a short elbow. Boser keeps head pressure against the fence, then lands another short elbow. Boser continues to make Camur work. He creates space and fires off a quick combination — including another elbow. Camur breaks free and attacks the body. That’s short-lived, as Boser flurries with volume, backing up Camur and shoving him into the fence. Boser grinds away in the clinch, adding a few knees to the thigh. They break and Boser tags Camur with multiple punches. Camur lands a knee and elbow in the clinch, but Boser shoves him into the cage again. Boser gives up on a single leg and punches the body. Camur answers with a right and they trade before Boser shoves him back into the wire. Boser backs off in the last 10 seconds and avoids a final offering from Camur.

Round 3

Boser with a leg kick. Camur has a head kick blocked and they clinch again. Boser makes Camur think about the single leg again. Boser digs the body with punches and Camur answers with a knee before they break. Boser follows a body kick with a series of heavy punches to the head. The Canadian then uses the single to push Camur into the fence again. Boser backs away and they trade. A foot sweep from Camur makes Boser stumble. Camur lands in the pocket, but Boser shoves him back into the fence. The crowd is not pleased with Boser’s approach. Camur breaks free. They collide in the center, with both men swinging . Camur shoves Boser backward but eats a knee to the chin for his efforts. Boser reverses and grinds away in the clinch. Boser backs off and lands a couple jabs. They trade in close, but Boser tags Camur with a series of six to eight unanswered punches. Camur eats them all and remains upright, but he’s exhausted. Boser shoves his man into the fence one more time and lands an elbow before the horn.

Jimmy Neely will ref this featherweight showdown. A Tucker high kick slams off Lopes’ forearm. Tucker tries to land a hard low kick, but it hits the groin, and Lopes doubles over in pain. The action resumes and Tucker loads up an overhand right. Tucker goes for a single leg takedown, and Lopes responds by jumping to his back for a triangle. Lopes continues to adjust the hold, pulling on the arm at the same time. The choke gets deeper as a result, and Tucker’s arm bends at a gruesome angle as Lopes rolls him into a mounted triangle for style points. It’s the triangle armbar that brought the tap, a spectacular submission win for Lopes.

Gary Copeland is in charge for this light heavyweight affair. Jacoby circles on the outside, probing with punches to the head. Nzechukwu is stalking and pressuring. A straight left gets through for Nzechukwu. Nzechukwu backs Jacoby into the fence and lands another solid left. However, a counter right clips Nzechukwu on the chin and he tumbles to the canvas. Jacoby pounces and unleashes a volley of about seven hammerfists on his dazed foe before Copeland decides he’s seen enough.

Round 1

Kevin MacDonald gets the nod to oversee the evening’s strawweight co-main event. Andrade blocks a head kick from Suarez, who is noticeably larger than her Brazilian foe. Suarez throws a body kick. Andrade answers with an inside low kick. It’s a measured pace thus far, and Suarez is employing a kick heavy attack. Suarez catches a kick and looks to close the distance, but she stumbles out of the clinch and they’re back at distance. Another inside low kick for Andrade, and Suarez responds with a body kick. Suarez drops for a low single and she gets it, moving straight to side control at the 2:30 mark. Suarez wraps up the neck as Andrade stands. Suarez lands some knees while maintaining the headlock. More knees come from Suarez before Andrade frees her head. Suarez keeps the pressure on, though, shoving Andrade into the wire and landing more heavy knees. They separate with less than a minute remaining. Suarez grabs the clinch and Andrade makes her pay with some punches in close. Suarez kicks the body late in the round. Suarez grabs a leg at the horn.

Round 2

Suarez probes with a front kick at the outset. Suarez circles away and lands kicks to the legs and body. Suarez then shoots and finishes a single leg takedown a little more than 30 seconds into the frame. Suarez moves into side control. Andrade scrambles up and Suarez drops for a guillotine. The initial attempt is not successful. Suarez thinks about a brabo choke, but transitions back to the guillotine and falls to the canvas. Her hands don’t appear to be connected on the choke but it’s still deep, forcing Andrade to tap. Suarez is now 2-0 in 2023 after a hiatus that lasted more than three years.

Jason Herzog is the official for the night’s catchweight headliner. Sandhagen shoots for a takedown within 15 seconds and succeeds. Font grabs a guillotine, and Sandhagen tries to discourage it with some upward elbows. Sandhagen escapes, and now Font is threatening with a kimura. It works as hoped because he is able to sweep. Back standing, Sandhagen tags Font with a stiff straight shot. Font lands a jab and then an uppercut. Sandhagen lands a nicely-timed double-leg takedown. Font creates space and Sandhagen leaps in with a right as his foe attempts to stand. Font clings to a leg, but Sandhagen assumes top position. Sandhagen is in half guard now, landing some right hands to the side of the head. Font uses the butterfly guard to create some space, and he’s up. Font lands a leg kick but comes up short on a combination. Sandhagen throws a body kick, but Font catches it and shoves his man to the floor. Font works to the back and lands a knee to the body before Sandhagen stands at the horn.

Round 2

Font pressures early with punches. Another quick takedown for the Elevation Fight Team product, and he moves to half guard. Sandhagen drives his forearm into Font’s face and lands a short elbow. Font looks to utilize the butterfly guard to create space, but Sandhagen floats above him. The Nashville crowd is getting restless with the grappling-heavy affair. Sandhagen maintains top position at the halfway mark of the round. Font is getting close, but he can’t quite execute the sweep. Sandhagen lands another short elbow. Sandhagen keeps Font’s leg hooked in half guard and continues to control the action from above. Sandhagen fires another short elbow at his foe’s head. Font is neutralizing the majority of Sandhagen’s offense from his back, but that’s about all he’s doing. Sandhagen drops another elbow before the end of the round as boos rain down at the horn.

Round 3

Font angles out and lands a glancing right hand. The fighters trade jabs. A right uppercut gets through for Font, and Sandhagen answers with a switch knee. Shortly thereafter, Sandhagen encounters little resistance on his takedown, drawing more boos from the Nashville fans. Sandhagen lands a couple shoulder strikes from above. He shoves Fonts head down and follows with a short elbow. Sandhagen continues to work from half guard. Font looks to isolate an arm for a sweep, but Sandhagen is able to free himself. Font nearly scrambles up but Sandhagen dives back into top position with some effective ground-and-pound. Sandhagen stays heavy and connects with an elbow. A hammerfist and an elbow land for Sandhagen. Font is finally able to get to his feet with 35 seconds left and Sandhagen launches a flying knee that lands on the chest. Font lands a right before the end of the frame.

Round 4

Font pressures with a combination early and Sandhagen threatens but misses the mark with a flying knee. The exchange is fleeting, however, as Sandhagen executes another takedown less than 30 seconds in. Font’s defensive grappling keeps him from getting hurt, but he’s not offering much of a threat to return to his feet. Sandhagen sneaks another elbow through. Sandhagen is heavy on top, though he isn’t finding much space to land offense. Font briefly scoots to a seated position, but Sandhagen pulls his legs back out. Heavy shoulder pressure from Sandhagen near the fence. Font sits up, posts an arm and threatens with a guillotine. The crowd chants for Jason Herzog to stand them up, but the veteran official isn’t taking the bait. Font is still fighting to stand, and he’s up, but only for a second as Sandhagen drags him right back down. As time winds down, Sandhagen lands a right and an elbow.

Round 5

It’s desperation time for Font, as it’s a shutout for Sandhagen to this point. Font pressures again with a frot kick and a left hook. Sandhagen answers with a striaght left and a front kick of his own. Font turns the tables and shoots for a takedown. Sandhagen defends against the fence, and Herzog calls for more action. Sandhagen is able to turn his man around, and he dumps Font on the mat once again. Font gets to a seated position, but Sandhagen powers him down. Now Sandhagen has a brabo choke locked in. Font rolls frantically to escape, but Sandhagen maintains his grip. Font recovers half guard and Sandhagen gives up on the maneuver. He continues to keep top position, and Font’s best efforts to scramble are still to no avail. Font moves his guard up in hopes of an armbar, but Sandhagen is in no real danger. He frees himself and ends the round on top. The crowd is not pleased, but it’s a very one-sided victory for Sandhagen.
