Former UFC featherweight Jonathan Brookins will drop to 125 pounds for his Legacy Fighting Championship debut this coming March.

LFC promoter Mick Maynard announced the news Friday, revealing that Brookins will take on Cody Fuller in a flyweight showdown at LFC 29. The event takes place March 21 from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino Tulsa in Catoosa, Okla., and the main card airs live on AXS TV.

Brookins introduced himself to UFC fans as a lightweight member of “The Ultimate Fighter 12,” winning the show by outpointing Michael Johnson in December 2010. However, Brookins would go on to lose three of his next four fights as a featherweight and received his UFC release on the heels of submission defeats to Charles Oliveira and Dustin Poirier to close out 2012.

A 17-fight pro, Fuller saw a three-fight winning streak snapped last year, going 0-2 in 2013. The Oklahoman made his Legacy debut in October, suffering a first-round knockout to recent UFC signee Ryan Benoit at LFC 24.
