After being released by the UFC in September, Carmont joined up with the Scott Coker-led promotion in December and now has his first matchup under the Bellator banner. The 32-year-old Carmont owns notable triumphs over Tom Lawlor, Lorenz Larkin and Costas Philippou, among others. He is 22-10 as a professional, with 16 of those wins coming by way of knockout, technical knockout or submission.
Viana will also be fighting for the first time for the Southern California-based promotion. The Shooto Brazil veteran has finished all six of his wins before reaching the judges’ scorecards.
Couture, 32, will look to add to his three-fight winning streak. The Strikeforce veteran was victorious in his Bellator debut in September, finishing Tommy Bagnasco via rear-naked choke.
For Cochrane, a win would be his first for Bellator. The 28-year-old has competed for Resurrection Fighting Alliance, Titan Fighting Championship, amongst other regional promotions, and fought the likes of UFC veteran Chris Heatherly, Efrain Escudero and Joe Stevenson.
