UFC Heading to Australia for Nov. 8 UFC Fight Night Event

The Ultimate Fighting Championship is set to go “down under” on Nov. 8.

During an interview following weigh-in’s for UFC 177 in Sacramento, Calif., UFC President Dana White confirmed that the promotion will be returning to Australia for a UFC Fight Night event.

Simply saying, “It is Nov. 8.”

While no details are confirmed, it’s likely the card will take place at the Allphones Arena in Sydney.

The last time the promotion was in town for an event was UFC Fight Night “Hunt vs. Bigfoot” at the Brisbane Entertainment Center in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. In the main event, Mark Hunt fought Antonio Silva to a bloody five-round draw.
