The Ultimate Fighting Championship will hold a UFC Fight Night card at Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas on Nov. 22.

The news was first reported on Fox Sports 1’s show “UFC Tonight.” The event will take place one week following UFC 180, which will be headlined by Cain Velasquez defending his heavyweight crown against Fabricio Werdum.

The Frank Erwin Center sits on the campus of University of Texas at Austin and can hold in excess of 16,700 fans. The card will take place during a Saturday of the college football season when the Texas Longhorns are not in action.

The UFC hasn’t held an event in Austin since UFC Fight Night “Marquardt vs. Palhares” in 2010. The main event featured Nate Marquardt defeating Rousimar Palhares via technical knockout in the first round, but it was not without controversy.

Palhares attempted to secure a leg lock on Marquardt, but “The Great” yanked his limb free immediately, leading the Brazilian to claim something was wrong and alert referee Herb Dean to a potential case of greasing. His protests were to no avail, however, as Marquardt finished his foe via TKO at the 3:26 mark.
