After losing the first round on virtually everybody’s card against Beneil Dariush in what was a highly entertaining chess match on the feet, Brazil’s Edson Barboza scored one of the most violent knockouts of the year thus far.

Dariush changed levels in an attempt to get inside, but Barboza jumped up with a perfectly-timed knee to the face. Once it detonated, Dariush was old cold and fell flat on his back. The spectacular knockout came at 3:35 of the second, easily giving the lightweight a post-fight bonus (online betting).
