Cub Swanson will lock horns with Frankie Edgar in a featherweight matchup with title implications when the UFC heads to Austin, Texas, on Nov. 22.

The Fight Night headliner was revealed on Wednesday’s edition of UFC Tonight. Also announced was a lightweight pairing pitting Bobby Green against Edson Barboza in the evening’s co-main event. UFC Fight Night "Edgar vs. Swanson" takes place at the Frank Erwin Center and also includes a flyweight showdown between Joseph Benavidez and Dustin Ortiz.

Swanson enters the bout on a six-fight winning streak in which he has posted knockout triumphs over George Roop, Ross Pearson, Charles Oliveira and Dennis Siver. The Jackson-Wink MMA standout has also earned decision victories against Dustin Poirier and Jeremy Stephens during his current tear.

Edgar received a title shot in his 145-pound debut, dropping a five-round verdict to Jose Aldo at UFC 156. The former lightweight ruler has since won back-to-back outings, outpointing Oliveira before stopping B.J. Penn in the third round at the “TUF 19” finale.

Green is unbeaten in his last eight appearances in Strikeforce and the UFC. The 28-year-old known as “King” has bested Jacob Volkmann, James Krause, Pat Healy and Josh Thomson inside the Octagon.

Barboza recently rebounded from a first-round submission loss to Donald Cerrone at UFC on Fox 11, as the Brazilian earned a technical knockout win over Evan Duham on July 16. Barboza is 8-2 in the UFC overall.
