An injury has forced Russian prospect Aleksandra Albu to withdraw from her planned UFC debut against Julie Kedzie at UFC Fight Night 33.

Kedzie will instead face unbeaten Brazilian Bethe Correia at the Dec. 7 event, UFC officials announced Wednesday.

Headlined by a heavyweight clash pitting Mark Hunt against Antonio Silva, UFC Fight Night 33 takes place at Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Australia. The Fox Sports 1-broadcast main card will also feature a pair of light heavyweight contests, as Mauricio Rua clashes with James Te Huna and Anthony Perosh faces Ryan Bader.

Correia, 30, has been perfect through six pro outings, earning three wins last year and then matching that total to begin 2013. Representing the Pitbull Brothers team, Correia last competed on June 29, when she earned a unanimous decision over Erica Paes under the Jungle Fight banner.

Kedzie looks to halt a three-fight losing streak when she takes on the Brazilian. “Fireball” ended her Strikeforce career with back-to-back defeats to Alexis Davis and Miesha Tate and was most recently outpointed by Germaine de Randamie in her July 27 Octagon debut. A nine-year pro, the Jackson’s MMA rep owns 10 of her 16 victories by decision and has yet to be knocked out in 28 fights.
