Josh Stansbury vs. Jeremy Kimball

Round 1

Kimball strikes first with a low kick but takes a right hand on the chin when Stansbury ducks inside. Kimball sticks a jab, tries a spinning kick and gets turned around and pressed against the fence, but Stansbury is unable to keep him there. Kimball steps forward with a straight right hand to the temple of Stansbury, who freezes in place and gets a standing hammerfist to the side of the head. Stansbury hits the deck near the center of the cage and goes fetal, covering up; Kimball pounds on him for a few seconds before referee Mario Yamasaki intervenes.

The Official Result

Jeremy Kimball def. Josh Stansbury via TKO (Punches) R1 1:21

Johnny Case vs. Tony Martin

Round 1

Case is the busier man through the opening minute, moving fluidly to land low kicks and jabs on the relatively stationary Martin. The leg kicks continue to add up for Case through minute two; Martin continues to have difficulty getting inside on the quicker man, though he has landed a few low kicks in return. Martin comes over the top with a right hand that momentarily slows Case's roll, but the MMA Lab product is soon back to working Martin's legs. Case sticks a stiff jab, but Martin is starting to time a counter left hook now. Martin counters a low kick with a left hook-right straight, then both men connect with right hands. Inside the final minute of round one, Case is connecting with some hard jabs. Martin shoots a double on the fence with 30 seconds left but only winds up pressing Case against the fence.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Case
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Case
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Case

Round 2

Case tries to get inside on Martin early, but it's Martin slugging back with a heavy right hand. Case looks stung as he takes a few steps backward, then changes levels too shoot inside. Martin catches him in a front headlock, looks to turn it into a choke, but "Hollywood" frees himself and circles away. Martin connects with another right; this time, Case takes it and returns fire with a pair of jabs. Martin tries the right again, misses and gets countered by Case near the fence. It's Martin controlling the action here in round two, holding the center of the cage and moving Case around the outside. Case's nose and cheek are starting to get busted up; Martin drops his hands and backs up as Case comes forward, swinging at air. The lightweights continue to exchange low kicks through the middle of the round, with Case seeming to get the better of the leg strikes. Martin catches Case coming forward and plunks the Iowan with a counter left hook. Martin pushes Case backward with three or four straight jabs, and finishes the round with a left high kick to Case's jaw.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Martin
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Martin
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Martin

Round 3

Martin lands a low kick, gets one in return from Case, then sticks "Hollywood" with a hard jab before he can circle away. Martin has been using his length more effectively since round one, keeping the shorter Case on the end of his long jabs. A particularly hard jab snaps back Case's head in the second minute of the round, and Martin's corner calls for him to bring more pressure to his bloodied opponent. Case steps forward throwing wild punches, gets caught in the Thai clinch and eats a big knee. Martin walks him down, comes over the top with another heavy right, now tacks on an inside thigh kick. Down to the final 90 seconds now, Case lands a left hand off his back foot, but stumbles as he eats another jab. Martin continues to press forward, still jabbing, now slips a punch from Case and counters with an uppercut. Martin shoots with 30 seconds on the clock and completes the first takedown of the bout. Time expires with Case in deep trouble from a Martin kimura attempt.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Martin (29-28 Martin)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-8 Martin (29-27 Martin)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Martin (29-28 Martin)

The Official Result

Tony Martin def. Johnny Case via Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) R3 5:00

Jared Gordon vs. Michel Quinones

Round 1

Gordon presses forward early with punches and a high kick, then catches a kick from Quinones but can't convert. Quinones circles off his back foot, pauses momentarily and gets a left hand over the top as Gordon ducks inside. Gordon gets caught ducking the next time and takes a jump knee from "El Capo." Now it's Gordon shooting for a takedown and bringing Quinones to the canvas up against the fence. Gordon moves to take the back of Quinones, gets one hook in but the other side is blocked by the fence. Gordon works some short left hands to both sides of the head of his trapped opponent. Midway through the round, Quinones peels away the hook and powers back to his feet. Both men land sporadic leg kicks, but there's not much clean offense from either fighter as they circle in the last minute of the round. Quinones lands a body kick, takes a short hook on the chin and gets a kick to the thigh from Gordon just before the horn.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Gordon
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Gordon
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Gordon

Round 2

Quinones gets turned around throwing a spinning kick and has to avoid an early takedown attempt from Gordon. A nice one-two lands for Gordon, who shoots in again, this time taking Quinones to the ground -- assisted by a guard pull -- near the center of the cage. Gordon works from Quinones' left side, nearly stepping over to full mount before settling in half guard to land some left hands. Gordon postures up to land a heavier right hand, but Quinones scrambles out and escapes to his feet. Gordon gives Quinones no space, chasing him down with a knee and more punches at the fence. Quinones turtles up momentarily, powers back to his feet but can't resist Gordon's next takedown attempt. Quinones is in trouble here, his face beet red as he shifts on the ground, trying to withstand Gordon's ground assault. Gordon passes to side control and starts mashing away with hammerfists as referee Keith Peterson takes a close look. Quinones is just covering up now, not offering anything in return, and now Peterson has seen enough.

The Official Result

Jared Gordon def. Michel Quinones via TKO (Punches) R2 4:24

Darrell Horcher vs. Devin Powell

Round 1

Horcher presses out from the center and deflects a few early high kicks from Powell, who circles near the fence. Horcher catches a body kick, can't do anything with it; moments later, he catches another and pops Powell with a quick left hand before releasing. Midway through the round, Horcher gets hold of Powell and trips him to the ground in the center of the cage. Now it's Horcher on top, working from side control on Powell's right side as the lightweights slowly scoot toward the fence. Short punches and elbows to the body are scoring for Horcher, who nearly passes to full mount but remains in half guard with 60 seconds on the clock. Horcher tries a keylock, can't find the submission and gets pushed back to full guard. Powell tries to sweep in the closing seconds, can't escape but winds up landing three or four solid punches off his back.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Horcher
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Horcher
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Horcher

Round 2

Horcher takes the center of the cage again at the start of round two, slowly pressing outward toward the rangier Powell. "The Saint" has to navigate past some more kicks from Powell, but once he gets inside, Horcher seems to sting Powell with a short left hand. Powell doubles over and has to defend his neck as Horcher briefly attempts a guillotine choke. Three minutes on the clock as Horcher presses Powell on the fence, releases and lands an uppercut. Horcher's follow-up punch, a left hook to the temple, takes the legs out from under Powell and brings the fight back to the floor. Horcher is back in top position with half the round remaining, working short ground-and-pound as Powell tries to get something going from the bottom. Horcher defends a brief kimura attempt and makes Powell pay with some right hands to the face.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Horcher
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Horcher
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Horcher

Round 3

Powell lands a body kick off his back foot, then a tired-looking low kick which nonetheless drops Horcher to a knee momentarily. Horcher steps forward with a heavy left hand that forces Powell to circle away from the fence. Powell is sticking to his kick-heavy offense, but now, two minutes into the final round, he grabs for a single-leg takedown. Horcher defends the shot with ease, backing up against the wall, establishing underhooks and spinning to put Powell's back on the fence. Powell pulls guard, looking for a guillotine or anaconda choke, then rolls Horcher onto his side. Powell switches to a D'arce setup but can't cinch it as Horcher clings tight to his legs. Seventy seconds left now as Powell continues to hunt for a choke. Horcher powers back to his feet and drives forward, leaving his neck exposed. Powell snatches a high-elbow guillotine but loses the choke as Horcher grinds him against the cage, and this one will go to the judges.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Horcher (30-27 Horcher)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Powell (29-28 Horcher)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Powell (29-28 Horcher)

Carla Esparza vs. Maryna Moroz

Round 1

Esparza sticks the first jab, tries to shoot inside but gets cut off by Moroz with a check right hook. Moroz is using jabs and threatening with long, looping punches to keep the shorter woman on the outside through the first two minutes. Esparza shoots in to try another single-leg and gets swatted away. The wrestler drops to her knees to shoot again but has to stand up when Moroz blocks it and starts dropping punches. Halfway through the round, Esparza finally shoots and completes a takedown in the center of the cage. Moroz grabs a headlock on the way down but can't cinch the guillotine choke. She continues to hold Esparza in the headlock until the 70-second mark, when "Cookie Monster" pops her head free and tries to mount some ground-and-pound. Moroz keeps an active guard, locking down Esparza's left hand and threatening to pivot for an armbar, but time expires with Esparza on top.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Esparza
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Moroz
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-10

Round 2

Esparza is doing better in the striking exchanges through the first 90 seconds of round two, catching Moroz with a Superman punch and a nice counter left hook. The rangy Moroz shuts down the ex-champ's first takedown try, but Esparza comes back for another and plants Moroz on the mat near the fence. Moroz uses a whizzer to stand, then swats away Esparza to circle back to the center. Moroz easily brushes off Esparza's next shot, but Esparza comes back to slug with a right hand down the center. Esparza powers into a double-leg takedown and puts Moroz on her back with 90 seconds left. Moroz locks up Esparza and works back to her feet, but Esparza socks her with some left hands on the way up. Esparza looks for one last takedown but runs out of time.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Esparza
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Esparza
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Esparza

Round 3

Moroz blocks a trip attempt from Esparza but takes a knee to the groin from the former champion, and action is paused for "The Iron Lady" to recover. When the fight resumes, it's Moroz jabbing her way forward, forcing Esparza backward toward the fence. Esparza reverses course and drives forward, easily taking down Moroz in the center of the cage. Once again, Moroz tries to tangle up Esparza from the bottom, slowing the bout to a grinding pace. Referee Mario Yamasaki tells the fighters to get busy; with her hands completely tied up, Esparza tries to drive Moroz's head into the canvas with shoulder strikes, then throws knees to Moroz's posterior. Referee Yamasaki brings the strawweights back to their feet with 80 seconds left. Moroz sprawls out on a double from Esparza, but the "Cookie Monster" keeps driving and puts Moroz on her back again. Esparza stands over Moroz with 30 seconds left and lands bare leg kicks on her prone opponent. Moroz jumps back to her feet, only to be taken down once more before the final horn.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Esparza (30-27 Esparza)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Esparza (29-28 Esparza)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Esparza (30-28 Esparza)

Vitor Miranda vs. Marvin Vettori

Round 1

Vettori presses out from the center of the cage, keeping his hands in Miranda's face as he backs up the Brazilian to the fence. Miranda slows Vettori's roll momentarily with a high kick, but Vettori comes straight back with even more pressure. Vettori lands a jump knee to the body and swipes a right hand across the face of Miranda, who circles off the fence and lands an inside leg kick. Vettori goes low with a right leg kick, then high on the other side with a kick that Miranda has to block with both arms. Vettori sticks a jab, follows through with a left hand, then comes flying at Miranda with a knee and more punches. Vettori presses "Lex Luthor" against the cage for a few seconds, then the 185ers move back to the middle. Miranda throws a left high kick, but Vettori catches it on his shoulder and converts it for a takedown. Miranda peels away Vettori's hands and climbs back to his feet with 40 seconds left. Miranda lands a good body kick, but when he tries to step inside and follow up, Vettori makes him pay with a stinging right hand.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Vettori
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Vettori
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Vettori

Round 2

Miranda brings some forward pressure in the first minute of round two, landing kicks and jabs as he backs up "The Italian Dream." Vettori changes levels to try a double and gets brushed aside by Miranda, who does the same on Vettori's next attempt. Vettori lands a heavy body kick, but Miranda keeps coming forward, tacking on more punches and low kicks. Vettori slugs back with a right hand and the middleweights tie up with two minutes left, Miranda now sporting a bloody nose. Vettori gets his back pressed against the fence, but he quickly reverses and drags the Brazilian to the mat. Miranda tries a kimura from the bottom, can't get anything going and has to release. Now it's Vettori working from Miranda's half guard with one minute on the clock; Miranda uses butterfly guard to push away Vettori and jump back to his feet. Vettori catches a low kick from Miranda in the final 10 seconds and completes another takedown.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Vettori
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Vettori
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Miranda

Round 3

Miranda tries to pressure Vettori again as the final round begins, but this time Vettori is waiting with a short combination, landing three or four quick punches to Miranda's face. Miranda keeps walking after the youngster, landing leg kicks, now a knee to the body. Miranda barely misses with a left high kick as the suddenly tired-looking Vettori circles away, hands by his waist. Miranda lands an uppercut, forcing Vettori to escape off the fence again. Vettori's hands are very low as Miranda comes over the top with a right elbow strike. Vettori sprawls on a shot from Miranda, tries to snatch a guillotine but can't catch the Brazilian's neck. Vettori clinches with Miranda with 90 seconds left, tries to trip but can't bring him down. The Italian's second effort puts Miranda on his back, and Vettori flattens him out from half guard. Miranda has nowhere to go as Vettori bears down on him until the final horn.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Miranda (29-28 Vettori)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Vettori (30-27 Vettori)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Vettori (29-28 Vettori)

Clay Guida vs. Erik Koch

Round 1

Guida comes forward, windmilling punches, and he catches Koch with a wild right hand over the top. Koch takes a step back but seems unfazed, and now the younger man begins to establish his jab. Guida continues to bounce forward, constantly changing levels and threatening to shoot. Halfway through the round, Guida does just that, and "The Carpenter" pins Koch against the fence, clung to a single-leg. Guida switches to a double, clasps his hands, still can't complete the takedown and goes back to a single. Guida finally finishes the shot but can't hold Koch on the mat for more than a split second, and now it's the "New Breed" digging an underhook to trap Guida on the wall. Guida reverses and drops to his knees for another shot; Koch limp-legs away to finish the round on his feet, though Guida gets the final word with a charging right hand.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Koch
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Guida
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Guida

Round 2

Koch comes down the center with a straight left but gets tagged back with an overhand right. Guida shoots in behind the punch and drives Koch to the canvas at the base of the fence. The pace slows on the floor, with Guida pressuring from top position and Koch just trying to tie up from the bottom. Guida steps over to full mount but can't find much room to strike as Koch wraps him up with both arms. Guida works some short body punches, then goes to the head as the final 90 seconds of round two tick away. Guida frames up an arm-triangle choke but can't get the tap from mount and doesn't have room to hop off, with the cage blocking Koch's left side. Guida postures up in full mount with 20 seconds on the clock and tries to pound out a stoppage, but Koch survives to see the final round.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Guida
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-8 Guida
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-8 Guida

Round 3

After a slow opening minute, Guida shoots for a takedown at the fence but is blocked by Koch, who digs an underhook and widens his base up against the wall. Guida gets hold of a single-leg, forcing Koch to hop around on one leg while defending the takedown. The takedown finally comes for Guida with 2:50 on the clock, and "The Carpenter" quickly moves to full mount again. Koch wraps up with both arms around Guida, but the Illinois native breaks loose and postures up to drop punches with both hands. Koch is covering up well, and Guida doesn't have much room to work, rendering much of the offense from mount ineffective. Guida finds more success with short elbows and shoulder strikes, but he sits up again to finish the fight dropping punches.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-8 Guida (29-27 Guida)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-8 Guida (30-25 Guida)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-8 Guida (30-25 Guida)

B.J. Penn vs. Dennis Siver

Round 1

Penn sits down on a jab for his first punch of the fight; Siver returns fire with a kick to the body. Penn's next jab forces Siver backward a few steps, and now the German ties up with the former champion on the fence. Penn balances on one leg until he can escape, then comes back to give Siver a taste of his own medicine with a brief clinch. Penn continues to work his jab while staying out of range of Siver's kicks, though Siver gets through with a spinning shot to the body. A left hand from Siver dislodges Penn's mouthguard, and the fight is paused immediately to replace it. Another spinning kick grazes Penn's body, forcing him to back up a few steps. Siver is the much more active fighter down the stretch but still struggles to land hard offense on Penn, who is constantly backing out of range.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Siver
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Siver
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Siver

Round 2

Siver has a much better start to the second round, landing almost at will with jabs and low kicks. Penn's offense, meanwhile, has fallen off sharply since his success in the first few minutes of the bout. Penn regains some ground with a couple stiff jabs, but Siver's varied strikes are coming harder and in much greater volume. Suddenly, with two minutes on the clock, Siver takes an uppercut on the chin and drops to his back. Penn tries to pound him out from the standing position, has to fend off an armbar from Siver, and now comes to the ground in side control on Siver's left. Penn has 80 seconds left to work, but he's soon tied up by Siver and isn't able to mount much offense from the dominant position.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Penn
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Penn
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Penn

Round 3

Despite a knockdown in the previous frame, Siver looks to be the fresher fighter through the first minute of round three. The German pressures Penn backward to the fence with low kicks and jabs; Penn's hands are hanging low, and there's not much return fire coming from the Hawaiian through 90 seconds of the round. Siver continues to hop around near the center of the cage, keeping Penn confined to the outside. The leg kicks and spinning shots to the body seem to be adding up, as Penn grows more defensive by the minute. Straight right hands from Siver are landing with increased regularity; at one point, after absorbing a few hard rights and follow-up leg kicks, Penn seems on the verge of falling down. The cage keeps him standing for more abuse from Siver, who has completely taken control in a dominant final round.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-8 Siver (29-27 Siver)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-8 Siver (29-27 Siver)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-8 Siver (29-27 Siver)

The Official Result

Dennis Siver def. B.J. Penn via Majority Decision (29-27, 29-28, 28-28) R3 5:00

Alex Garcia vs. Tim Means

Round 1

Garcia connects with a left hook-right straight on the southpaw Means, who fires back with a left straight to the body. Garcia puts a pair of left hooks on Means' temple, then hustles the "Dirty Bird" to the ground near the fence. Means powers back to his feet but is wrapped up against the cage. Means peels away and hits Garcia with a knee to the body on the break. The pace slows toward the middle of the round as both men try to navigate the striking range with quick jabs. Garcia misses with a right hand and takes a whipping left in return, then Means follows up with a body shot. Another left to the body scores for Means in the last 30 seconds, while Garcia struggles to mount offense in the latter half of the round.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Garcia
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Garcia
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Garcia

Round 2

The welterweights continue to bob and weave, and continue to have difficulty finding any sort of offensive rhythm through 90 seconds of round two. Garcia gets inside on a single-leg, runs Means against the fence and switches to a double, but Means finds underhooks and escapes. Means is finding more success on the feet, moving Garcia backward with jabs and occasionally finding a home for a solid left hook, but the offensive output from both men remains low.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Means
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Means
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Means

Round 3

Garcia shoots and completes a takedown in the center of the cage, but Means is barely on the ground for a second before he rolls out and springs back to his feet. Garcia continues to swing punches but can't find the mark against the taller Means, who sticks jabs and fires back with left hands when the opportunity arises. A straight left snaps back Garcia's head midway through the round, but Means doesn't follow up on the punch. Down to the final 90 seconds now, Means continues to jab his way forward, parrying punches and deflecting Garcia's sporadic offensive bursts.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Means (29-28 Means)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Means (29-28 Means)
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Means (29-28 Means)

The Dane drops to his knees, clinging to a leg while Reyes tries to polish him off from the standing position. Reyes allows his opponent to stand, then comes straight back and obliterates Christensen with another straight left. A few more punches on the ground are all it takes for referee Gary Ritter to intervene.

The Official Result

Dominick Reyes def. Joachim Christensen via TKO (Punches) R1 0:29

Felice Herrig vs. Justine Kish

Round 1

Kish tries a high kick and a Thai clinch, but Herrig deftly takes her back in the scramble and then rides her to the ground. Herrig immediately goes hunting for a rear-naked choke, but Kish peels away her hooks and escapes the dangerous position. The strawweights scramble to their feet, but Herrig keeps hold of Kish and runs her back to the ground at the base of the fence. Herrig moves to take Kish's back again, but her left hook is blocked by the fence. Kish rolls onto her back, leaving Herrig in half guard. Herrig passes to full mount at the midway point of the round, begins dropping punches and then takes Kish's back when she rolls over. Herrig has both hooks set with two minutes left to work in the middle of the cage. Kish rolls over again, putting Herrig back in full mount. Kish escapes out the backdoor but can't maintain top position. The strawweights come back to their feet, Herrig shoots immediately, but Kish gets the whizzer and comes out on top in the scramble. Herrig powers back to her feet but finishes the round trapped in a Kish headlock.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Herrig
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Herrig
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Herrig

Round 2

Kish presses forward in the opening minute of round two but walks into a few left hook counters from Herrig. Both fighters are looking a bit stiff after a grappling-heavy first frame, and now a left hook from Herrig opens a cut on the outside of Kish's right eye. Kish gets Herrig to back up with a low kick, but the "Lil Bulldog" slugs back with a left hook-right straight. Kish grabs a Thai clinch, can't do much with it but lands a body shot on the break. The 115ers tangle at the fence, Herrig on the outside, and the veteran rolls Kish to the ground again. Heavy top pressure from Herrig yields back-mount again as Kish rolls over. Kish twists around and suddenly finds herself on top with 30 seconds on the clock. Herrig throws up an armbar from her back, can't catch it, and Kish passes to finish the round in deep half guard.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Herrig
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Herrig
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Herrig

Round 3

Herrig hustles Kish back to the ground within 30 seconds, passing to half guard as she jams Kish up against the fence. Kish gives up her back once again, tries a bridge escape and scrambles to her feet, but Herrig follows her and climbs up on her back standing. Herrig sinks a rear-naked choke while Kish is still standing, rides her to the ground and continues to squeeze the choke. The RNC looks extremely tight, but Kish refuses to tap, continues to fight and now scrapes Herrig off her back. Herrig tries to finish with a headlock from top position, now gives it up and passes back to full mount. Kish tries to sit up and is met by right hands from Herrig, and now Kish gives up her back again. Herrig drops right hands on the face of her kneeling opponent from back-mount as the final minute ticks away.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-8 Herrig (30-26 Herrig)
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-8 Herrig (30-26 Herrig)

Tim Boetsch vs. Johny Hendricks

Round 1

Hendricks takes the center of the cage while Boetsch circles left around the outside, and it's "The Barbarian" who strikes first with a low kick and a body shot. Boetsch tacks on a couple more low kicks and raises an arm to deflect Hendricks' first big left hand of the bout. Boetsch catches a kick and bounces a right hand off Hendricks' shoulder before releasing. The fighters tangle near the fence and Hendricks lands a pair of short left hands as they disengage. Boetsch gets backed up to the wall but creates space by forcing Hendricks backward with a sharp left hand. Boetsch comes over the top with a right, dodges a whipping left from "Bigg Rigg" and continues circling. A straight right from Boetsch forces Hendricks backward again, though only for a few seconds. Boetsch is doing good body work with constant teep kicks to the midsection throughout the round. The fighters tangle again and Boetsch scores with a left to the body, then an uppercut before the horn.

Jordan Breen scores the round 10-9 Boetsch
Brian Knapp scores the round 10-9 Boetsch
Chris Nelson scores the round 10-9 Boetsch

Round 2

Boetsch sticks a straight right down the pipe and follows with a hard body kick to the left side of Hendricks' ribs. A flush right high kick -- shin to head -- sends Hendricks staggering backward, and Boetsch puts him on the ground with a fadeaway right hand. Hendricks is in trouble, still standing but covering up as Boetsch mugs him with uppercuts at the fence. Referee Kevin MacDonald shouts for Hendricks to fight back, but when Hendricks collapses to the ground and Boetsch continues to land punches, the ref waves it off.

The Official Result

Tim Boetsch def. Johny Hendricks via TKO (Head Kick and Punches) R2 0:46

Michael Chiesa vs. Kevin Lee

Round 1

Referee Mario Yamasaki is the third man in the cage for tonight's 155-pound main event, with judges Brian Puccillo, Marcos Rosales and Glenn Trowbridge scoring at cageside. Chiesa misses with his first head kick but splits the guard of Lee with a left hand soon after. Another left hand clips the backpedaling Lee, sending the "Motown Phenom" to the canvas. Chiesa tries to catch a guillotine as Lee stands, but Lee changes levels for a double-leg and slams Chiesa to the floor. Chiesa throws up a triangle from his back, can't cinch it, and now it's Lee working from Chiesa's open guard with three minutes on the clock. Lee stands and stacks up Chiesa, who tries an armbar but again can't secure the submission. Chiesa rolls over, giving up his back, and Lee attaches himself immediately with a body triangle. Two minutes left in the round as Lee scores with punches from back-mount. Chiesa is taking some heavy shots to the head, forcing him to sit up against the cage. Two-on-one defense from Chiesa keeps him safe from the rear-naked choke, but he leaves his neck exposed for a split-second and Lee is all over it. Lee whips his right arm around Chiesa's neck and squeezes tight. Chiesa peels away Lee's left hand and seems to get a momentary break from the choke, but Lee keeps squeezing. It looks as if Chiesa is raising a hand to tap, but before he can, referee Yamasaki breaks up the fighters and calls a halt to the bout. Still conscious, Chiesa jumps up to protest immediately after Lee releases the hold.
