UFC Confirms Claudia Gadelha Injury, Aisling Daly-Randa Markos Matchup for UFC 186
Following news last week that strawweight contender Claudia
Gadelha had suffered a back injury that would prevent her from
facing Aisling
Daly on April 11 in Poland at
UFC Fight Night “Gonzaga vs. Cro Cop 2,” the
Ultimate Fighting Championship has confirmed the report and
also named a new opponent for Daly in Randa
Markos.
The new pairing will take place at UFC 186 in Montreal on April 25. UFC announced the details Tuesday morning on its official website.
The women are not strangers as both were cast members of Anthony Pettis’ “The Ultimate Fighter 20” team.
Daly (15-5) will enter the bout on a two-fight winning streak with victories against Alex Chambers and Karla Benitez. Markos (4-2) will take to the cage on the heels of a split-decision loss to Jessica Penne at “The Ultimate Fighter 20” Finale.
