Miocic earned an event high $600,000 for his five-round decision victory over Francis Ngannou in the Jan. 20 headliner at the TD Garden in Boston. Ngannou, meanwhile, pocketed $500,000 in defeat. The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission released a list of salaries from the event on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier took home $500,000 for his second-round technical knockout triumph over Volkan Oezdemir ($350,000) in the co-main event. Next, Miocic will defend his heavyweight crown against Cormier in the UFC 226 headliner on July 7.

The only other fighter on the card to earn six figures was Gian Villante, who garnered $100,000 for a split decision over Francimar Barroso ($27,000) in a featured 205-pound affair.

Note: The disclosed purses reported by state athletic commissions do not include any performance-based or discretionary bonuses that may be awarded to a fighter by the promotion. Additionally, the reported figures do not reflect any deductions made by the commission for taxes, insurance, etc., and do not include any sponsorship money that a fighter may acquire for their performance.
