Oezdemir suffered a second-round technical knockout loss to Daniel Cormier in the evening’s co-main event at the TD Garden in Boston on Jan. 20. As a result, the Swiss fighter has received a 45-day medical suspension. Cormier emerged from the card with a clean bill of health.

The Massachusetts State Athletic Commission released medical suspensions from UFC 220 on Tuesday. Specific reasons for each term were not disclosed.
