UFC 194 Salaries: Conor McGregor, Jose Aldo, Urijah Faber Top $2.6M Payroll

Conor McGregor officially earned half a million dollars for his work at UFC 194, acording to payout information disclosed Monday by the Nevada Athletic Commission.

The newly crowned UFC featherweight champion pocketed a “show” purse of $500,000 and no win bonus for his 13-second knockout of Jose Aldo at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Aldo took home $400,000 in defeat, the second-highest earned on a payroll which totaled over $2.6 million.

The third-highest earned on the card was neither co-main event winner Luke Rockhold ($160,000) nor the man he defeated, former middleweight champ Chris Weidman ($275,000). It was undercard headliner and longtime Zuffa staple Urijah Faber, who raked in $300,000 for a three-round decision win against Frankie Saenz. The bantamweight bout had the largest pay discrepancy on the card, with Faber making 15 times the amount of Saenz, who earned $20,000 in “show” money for his fourth Octagon appearance.
