UFC 192 grew by two on Monday, as the event received a pivotal flyweight clash between Joseph Benavidez and Ali Bagautinov, plus a women’s strawweight tilt pitting Rose Namajunas against Angela Hill.
Ultimate Fighting Championship officials announced the new bouts via the Houston Chronicle. UFC 192 takes place Oct. 3 at Houston’s Toyota Center, headlined by a light heavyweight title clash between new champ Daniel Cormier and challenger Alexander Gustafsson.

Bagautinov also challenged Johnson for the UFC belt and suffered a lopsided unanimous decision, then failed a post-fight drug test for erythropoietin (EPO). The Russian “Puncher” will return from a 16-month absence after serving his year-long suspension from the UFC.
Namajunas and Hill were teammates on Gilbert Melendez’s squad during the 20th season of “The Ultimate Fighter.” Hill was eliminated by Carla Esparza in the opening round, while Namajunas made it to the season-ending title bout, where she was also tapped by Esparza. Namajunas has not competed since that defeat, while Hill most recently suffered a unanimous decision loss to Tecia Torres at UFC 188.
