The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s 20th anniversary event will feature a middleweight showdown between Rafael Natal and Ed Herman.
UFC 167 takes place Nov. 16 at Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas and is headlined by a welterweight title confrontation pitting reigning champion Georges St. Pierre against challenger Johny Hendricks. The show airs live on pay-per-view and will additionally feature a light heavyweight clash between Chael Sonnen and Rashad Evans, as well as a welterweight pairing between Rory MacDonald and Robbie Lawler.
Both Natal and Herman return to the Octagon coming off “Fight of the Night” winning performances. Natal picked up his bonus money just two weeks ago, scoring a unanimous decision victory over durable Swede Tor Troeng at Fight Night 28. The victory extended Natal’s winning streak to three fights, as the Brazilian previously scored wins over Sean Spencer and Joao Zeferino to kick off 2013.
Herman earned his “FOTN” award back in July by edging Trevor Smith in a bloody split decision at UFC on Fox 8. The triumph marked Herman’s first win since February 2012, when he submitted former Arizona State University wrestler Clifford Starks with a rear-naked choke at UFC 143.
