UFC 156 Salaries: Rashad Evans, Alistair Overeem, Jose Aldo Take Home Largest Paydays
Rashad Evans was the top earner of a star-studded UFC 156 field, taking home $300,000 in a losing effort against Antonio Rogerio Nogueira ($174,000) in Saturday’s co-main event.
Alistair Overeem was also rewarded handsomely in defeat, as the former Strikeforce heavyweight ruler garnered $285,714 in a third-round knockout loss to Antonio Silva ($70,000). The Nevada Athletic Commission released the salary figures on Monday.

Also on the main card, Demain Maiaj ($120,000) outgrappled Jon Fitch ($66,000) to secure his third win since dropping to welterweight, while Joseph Benavidez ($60,000) outpointed Ian McCall ($9,000) in a battle of flyweight contenders.
