“Today marks a new chapter in my life; I’ve signed a new contract with [PFL] and I’m so grateful to be put in a position where I can finally give back to all the amazing people that been with me constantly making sacrifices to help me achieve my dreams,” Silveira wrote on Instagram. “Words honestly can’t describe the feelings, but all I can say is these decisions were made a long, long time ago! I’m exactly where I need to be! Not too late, not too early… exactly where I need to be!”
Anchored at American Top Team in Coconut Creek, Fla., where he trains under his father Conan Silveira, Silveira is 7-0 thus far in his burgeoning MMA career. He claimed the vacant LFA light heavyweight belt with a 49-second knockout of Tee Cummins this past September before securing the 185-pound strap with a five-round verdict against Jared Revel at LFA 119 on Dec. 3. All but one of his seven career triumphs have come inside the distance.
