Tonya Evinger-Colleen Schneider Title Bout Headlines Invicta FC 17 on May 7
Invicta FC, the world’s leading all-female MMA promotion, announced on Thursday that its brand of fighting will once again invade Orange County.

The bout will be the first title defense for Evinger, who is currently riding an eight-fight winning streak. “Triple Threat” has scored four straight stoppages in that span, with her last conquest coming in September when she pummeled Pannie Kianzad within two. Though Evinger captured her belt in July by knocking out Irene Aldana in the fourth, Kianzad failed to make the 135-pound limit, thus making the affair a non-title tilt.
Schneider, meanwhile, has won four in a row and five of six overall. “Thoroughbred” was successful in her previous bout, which was a split decision nod over Raquel Pa’aluhi at Invicta FC 15 in January.
More bouts for Invicta FC 17 will be announced soon.
