Promotion officials announced the welterweight pairing on Tuesday.
UFC Fight Night 128 takes place in Atlantic City, N.J., on April 21
and is headlined by a lightweight clash between Kevin Lee and
Barboza. The main card will be televised on Fox Sports 1
following early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
Martin saw a three-bout winning streak come to an end in his most
recent outing, as he dropped a split decision to Olivier
Aubin-Mercier at UFC Fight Night 116. The 28-year-old is 4-4
during his promotional tenure and is 12-4 as a professional
overall. Eight of his career triumphs have come by way of
Nakamura, meanwhile, appeared just once in 2017, taking a split
decision over Alex Morono
at UFC Fight Night 117. The 33-year-old Tokyo native has competed
in organizations such as Deep, Shooto and Sengoku while compiling a
33-8-2 record over the course of a tenure that begain in 2003.
