It didn’t take Olympic judoka Rick Hawn long to find a new MMA promotion to call home.

Hawn has signed with Titan Fighting Championship, the organization announced via Instagram on Friday. Hawn was released from his Bellator MMA contract earlier this week. According to a report from MMAFighting.com , Hawn signed a four-fight deal and is scheduled to make his debut on Dec. 19 against an as-yet-to-be named opponent.

“I’m very excited to call [Titan FC] my new home. Can’t wait for Dec. 19,” Hawn wrote on Twitter.

Hawn posted a 10-4 mark during a Bellator tenure that began in October 2010. The 38-year-old competed at both lightweight and welterweight and challenged for 170-pound gold at Bellator 117, falling to Douglas Lima via technical knockout. Hawn last competed at Bellator 130 on Oct. 24, dropping a unanimous decision to Dave Jansen.

“Ghengis” is 18-4 as a professional overall, with 11 of his triumphs coming by way of knockout or technical knockout.
