Tim Means will step in for the injured Kenny Robertson and face George Sullivan at UFC on Fox 15.
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced the change on Tuesday. UFC on Fox 15 takes place at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., on April 18 and is headlined by a middleweight clash between Lyoto Machida and Luke Rockhold.
Means enters the welterweight clash on a three-fight winning streak. “The Dirty Bird” last appeared at UFC 184, where he stopped Dhiego Lima via first-round TKO. The FIT-NHB product has also bested Hernani Perpetuo and Marcio Alexandre Jr. during his current run.
A six-time Cage Fury Fighting Championships veteran, Sullivan is 2-0 in the Octagon, with triumphs over Mike Rhodes and Igor Araujo in his first two promotional outings. The 34-year-old Pellegrino MMA representative has won eight straight bouts overall.
