A heavyweight scrap between UFC veteran Marcio “Pe De Pano” Cruz and Glover Teixeira is now official, as the fighters will collide at Clube da Luta (Fight Club) on July 20 in Rio de Janeiro.
Cruz's trainer, Roberto Correa, confirmed the news Friday. The event features the return of onetime UFC middleweight champion Murilo Bustamante, as the 44-year-old returns to the ring for only the second time since 2007 to square off with Deep welterweight champion Yuya Shirai.

Cruz made his UFC debut in 2005, finishing Keigo Kunihara and Frank Mir before suffering back-to-back losses to Jeff Monson and Andrei Arlovski. The Brazilian jiu-jitsu ace has not lost since his defeat at the hands of “The Pitbull,” winning five consecutive fights since 2006. The 33-year-old owns three of his seven career wins by submission and has only been finished once as a professional.
