The UFC has been forced to alter its February itinerary.
Glover Teixiera has been forced to withdraw from his headlining bout against Rashad Evans at UFC Fight Night in Porto Alegre, Brazil, due to an injury suffered in training. As a result, a heavyweight clash between Frank Mir and Antonio Silva has been moved from UFC 184 on Feb. 28 and will now headline the Feb. 22 event. Sherdog.com confirmed the change with a UFC official following an initial report from MMAFighting.com.

UFC Fight Night “Bigfoot vs. Mir” takes place at the Gigantinho Gymnasium in Porto Alegre, Brazil, and also includes a lightweight pairing pitting Edson Barboza against Michael Johnson.
Mir, a former heavyweight champion who has lost his last four fights, will be making his first appearance since a unanimous decision defeat at the hands of Alistair Overeem at UFC 169. Silva, meanwhile, will attempt to rebound from a first-round knockout loss to Andrei Arlovski this past September.
