Chris Beal has yet another opponent at UFC Fight Night “Mousasi vs. Jacare 2.”
After injuries to Ian Entwistle and Rob Font left Beal and Dustin Kimura without matchups for the Sept. 5 card, the two bantamweights agreed to face each other. Now, Kimura is injured, and Beal will square off with Tateki Matsuda instead. The UFC announced the change on Friday.

A loser on the preliminary round of “The Ultimate Fighter 14,” Matsuda has posted consecutive wins under the Classic Entertainment and Sports MMA banner. Most recently, the Team Sityodtong representative submitted Robbie Leroux with a rear-naked choke in the first round at CES MMA 25.
Beal, meanwhile, is 9-0 as a professional, including a flying knee knockout of Patrick Williams at UFC 172. The 29-year-old Knuckleheadz Boxing product has competed for the BAMMA USA organization for the majority of his career.
