Sultan Aliev Injured, Bounced from UFC 202
It looks like Sultan Aliev will not be fighting on the massive UFC 202 card later this month. According to a report from MMAJunkie, a wrist injury has derailed the Russian middleweight and Aliev has been removed from the event, leaving Hyun Gyu Lim currently without an opponent.
Aliev was hoping to bounce back from a dreadful Ultimate Fighting Championship debut in January where Kenny Robertson knocked him out in the first. “The Ace” was looking to get back on track as well as Lim fell short in in his most recent Octagonal appearance. The South Korean was stopped by Neil Magny at UFC Fight Night 66 and has lost two of his last three.
