Once-beaten light heavyweight Steve Bosse will step into the Octagon for the first time on April 16, when “The Boss” locks horns with fellow Canadian Ryan Jimmo at UFC Fight Night 41.

UFC officials recently announced the booking, which takes place at the Pepsi Coliseum in Quebec City. UFC Fight Night 41 will serve as the live finale for “TUF Nations: Canada vs. Australia” and is topped by a middleweight confrontation pitting Michael Bisping against Tim Kennedy.

Bosse, 32, rides an eight-fight winning streak into his UFC debut, most recently scoring a first-round stoppage last May under Quebec’s Challenge MMA banner. The 32-year-old owns eight of his 10 wins by way of knockout and holds notable victories over UFC alumni Houston Alexander, Marvin Eastman and Wes Sims.

Jimmo, meanwhile, made his Octagon foray in 2012 after capturing the Maximum Fighting Championship light heavyweight title the year prior. “Big Deal” has gone 2-2 in his UFC career thus far, posting wins over Anthony Perosh and Igor Pokrajac while stumbling against James Te Huna and Jimi Manuwa.
