Bobby Green has been forced to withdraw from his UFC 172 confrontation with Jim Miller, Sherdog.com on Saturday confirmed with a source close to the bout.

Miller will instead collide with Yancy Medeiros at the April 26 event, according to the source. Medeiros was initially supposed to face Joe Ellenberger, and it is unknown if “Excalibur” will still compete on the card. The UFC has not yet made an announcement on the expected change.

UFC 172 marks the promotion’s debut in Baltimore and airs live on pay-per-view. The event takes place at Baltimore Arena and is headlined by a light heavyweight title confrontation pitting reigning champion Jon Jones against challenger Glover Teixeira.

Medeiros, 26, most recently competed in November, when he stopped Yves Edwards at UFC Fight Night 31. However, Medeiros tested positive for marijuana metabolites after the bout, and the result was changed to a no-contest.

Miller, 30, returned to his winning ways on Dec. 28, when he tapped out Fabricio Camoes with a slick first-round armbar at UFC 168. The New Jersey native joined the UFC in 2008 and has since racked up a promotional record of 12-3 with one no-contest.
