The 33-year-old Warren, a 2006 FILA Wrestling World Championships gold medalist, earned a crack at Soto’s crown navigating through Bellator’s season two eight-man tournament earlier this year. Likewise, Soto, 23, weathered his own tournament during the promotion’s first season in 2009 to be crowned its first 145-pound champion.

Also on the card, Bellator will host three of the four quarterfinal bouts comprising its bantamweight tournament. Ulysses Gomez weighed in at 135.2 pounds for his bout against Travis Reddinger (135), while Zach Makovsky came in at 134.4 pounds for his tilt against Nick Mamalis (135.8). In the third bracket, Bryan Goldsby (135.8) will meet Ed West (135).

Jose Vega advanced in the fourth bantamweight bracket at Bellator 26 last week, notching a unanimous decision over Danny Tims in Kansas City, Mo.
