Sherdog to Stream M-1 Global Selection Series Starting Friday

M-1 Global will begin its “Selection” event series this Friday with a worldwide tournament of 160 fighters vying for slots among M-1 Challenge’s 2010 roster.

The “Selection” series will be broken down into four global regions: Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Asia and the Americas. Each region will hold eight-man elimination tournaments in each of the five weight divisions, with the final winners earning positions on their M-1 Challenge team for the 2010 season.
Friday’s event will feature a 14-fight card in the Western Europe
bracket from the Hilversum in the Netherlands, along with two M-1
featured bouts.
