A light heavyweight clash between Ryan Jimmo and Ovince St. Preux has been booked for the UFC’s return to British Columbia.

UFC officials Friday announced the pairing, which precedes a flyweight title main event pitting Demetrious Johnson against Ali Bagautinov. UFC 174 airs live on pay-per-view from Rogers Arena in Vancouver and will additionally feature a pivotal welterweight collision between Tyron Woodley and Rory MacDonald.

Jimmo, 32, has gone 3-2 since joining the UFC in 2012 as the reigning Maximum Fighting Championship light heavyweight titlist. “Big Deal” last competed on April 16, when he knocked out Sean O’Connell at “The Ultimate Fighter Nations” finale in Quebec City.

St. Preux, 31, has earned three consecutive Octagon victories, debuting with a controversial technical decision win over Gian Villante one year ago before stopping Cody Donovan and Nikita Krylov in first-round finishes. The Strikeforce import owns 20 pro bouts to his credit, with 11 of his 15 wins coming by either knockout or submission.
