The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s Oct. 24 card in Dublin appears to have its co-headliner, as a heavyweight battle between Stipe Miocic and Ben Rothwell has been targeted for the event.

MMAJunkie.com first reported the matchup, although the promotion has yet to officially announced the fight. The UFC Fight Night bill takes place at 3Arena in Dublin and features a main event clash pitting Dustin Poirier against Joseph Duffy.

Miocic has won four of his last five contests, including a dominant five-round technical knockout triumph against Mark Hunt in his last appearance on May 10. The Ohio native acquitted himself nicely in his lone defeat during that time, dropping a hard-fought five-round decision to former champion Junior dos Santos at UFC on Fox 13.

Rothwell, meanwhile, enters the bout on a three-fight winning streak. The International Fight League veteran has bested Brandon Vera, Alistair Overeem and Matt Mitrione during his current tear, finishing all three foes inside the distance.
