Former UFC lightweight talent Dan Lauzon
was stabbed early Thursday in Bridgewater, Mass., according to a
report by local newspaper The Enterprise.
Lauzon, younger brother to current UFC competitor Joe Lauzon, was reportedly knifed at the top of his shoulder. The 22-year-old did not suffer a life-threatening wound.
Joe Lauzon confirmed Dan’s stay in the hospital in his most recent blog entry, relaying that in his haste to visit his brother in the emergency room at around 2 a.m. Thursday, he suffered a nasty ankle sprain. Lauzon, 26, was about to depart on a goodwill tour of Iraq when he sustained the injury to his right ankle, which is now badly swollen, and the lightweight’s trip abroad is now temporarily on hold.
