Report: ‘Cyborg,’ Barao Added to UFC Fight Night 95
According to a report from Brazilian news outlet UOL on Wednesday, women’s smashing machine Cris Cyborg will make her second Octagon appearance on Sep. 24 in a featured bout at UFC Fight Night 96. It’s being reported that “Cyborg” will meet Lina Lansberg in a 140-pound catchweight bout; the battle will headline the event.
Justino is regarded as the best all-around fighter in the women’s circuit by many experts. Her crushing power and ruthless striking have allowed her to compile a 16-1 record, with all but two of her foes being stopped. Lansberg, meanwhile, will be making her Ultimate Fighting Championship debut riding a six-fight winning streak, with four coming via knockout.

A flyweight bout between Jussier Formiga and Dustin Ortiz has been added to the lineup as well, according to a report from Brazilian outlet Combate.
To coincide with the previously-reported lightweight clash between Paul Felder and Francisco Trinaldo, welterweights Erick Silva and Brandon Thatch will square off. Combate also reported that Michinori Tanaka will take on Rani Yahya in a bantamweight encounter while Renato Moicano will oppose Mike de la Torre at 145 pounds.
A welterweight skirmish featuring Alan Patrick Silva Alves and Steven Ray is also scheduled for the event, which will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass, followed by a live telecast on Fox Sports 1.
