Promotion officials announced on Thursday that Ray Borg has withdrawn from Saturday’s UFC 203 flyweight encounter with McCall. As a result, McCall has been pulled from the card and UFC 203 will move forward with 11 bouts. Borg vs. McCall was scheduled to air on the Fox Sports 1-televised prelims.

UFC 203 takes place at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland and is headlined by a heavyweight championship tilt between Stipe Miocic and Alistair Overeem. The evening’s main card is available on pay-per-view, while prelims air on both FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.

McCall was supposed to compete at UFC 201 on July 30, but a proposed matchup with Justin Scoggins was scrapped days before the event when Scoggins was unable to make weight and “Uncle Creepy” declined to meet his opponent at a catch-weight.

Borg saw a three-fight Octagon winning streak come to an end in his last outing at UFC Fight Night “Hendricks vs. Thompson” in February, when he fell to Scoggins via unanimous decision.

McCall has not fought since Jan. 31, 2015, when he dropped a unanimous verdict to John Lineker at UFC 183. The Team Oyama representative took to Instagram to angle for a showdown in Ireland with Neil Seery. The Las Vegas-based promotion is slated to travel to Belfast for a UFC Fight Night bill on Nov. 19.
