Another Sioux Falls, S.D. native has been added to the UFC's summer
trip to “The Best Little City in America,” and in this case, it
Resurrection Fighting Alliance champion is UFC-bound, too.
Argus Leader reported that RFA light heavyweight champion
Clark will make his UFC debut against Alex
Nicholson on the July 13 Fight Night bill, with both men moving
down to 185 pounds. The event, which does not yet have an announced
main event, takes place at the Denny Sanford Premier Center. The
main card will air live on Fox Sports 1.
The 26-year-old “Brown Bear” is a perfect 6-0 as a professional.
His last win came on April 15 at RFA
37, where he took the vacant RFA strap by defeating Brazilian
Viana, who bowed out due to a hand injury after the second
round. Florida's Nicholson made his first Octagon appearance on the
Hendricks undercard in Las Vegas, where he was submitted and
had his jaw popped by Misha
Cirkunov's vicious face crank.
