One Fighting Championship Bolsters Aug. 29 Lineup in Dubai

One Fighting Championship has added a lightweight matchup to its Aug. 29 One FC 19 “Reign of Champions” card.

Vaughn Donayre (7-1) will test Mohammed Walid (3-0) in an undercard bout. The fight was first reported by various Filipino outlets and was confirmed by Sherdog.com’s James Goyder.

The 155-pound clash will mark the One FC debut for both fighters.

Aug. 29’s bill will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is to be headlined by a welterweight title match pitting champion Nobutatsu Suzuki against No. 1 contender Ben Askren. Also, One FC lightweight ace Shinya Aoki will look to defend his crown against Ultimate Fighting Championship and World Extreme Cagefighting veteran Kamal Shalorus.
