Three new contests have been added to the One Fighting Championship’s next event, as promotion officials recently announced that One FC 14 will see Andrew Leone collide with Shinichi Kojima in a pivotal flyweight contest.
The March 14 show takes place at Stadium Negara in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and is headlined by a welterweight title showdown between Brock Larson and Nobutatsu Suzuki. The event streams live on onefc.livesport.tv and will also see former lightweight ruler Kotetsu Boku face off with Arnaud Lepont, while Harris Sarmiento battles Herbert Burns at 145 pounds.
Leone was originally supposed to face Kojima in the main event of One FC 10, but that booking was scrapped after the American suffered an injury. The New Yorker has won six of his last seven fights and made a successful One FC debut this past May, outpointing Geje Eustaquio at “Rise to Power.”
Kojima, meanwhile, has emerged victorious in three of his last four outings and debuted in the One FC cage almost one year ago, when he submitted URCC champion Rey Docyogen at One FC 7. A 10-year pro, “BJ” has stopped 9 of his 13 victims inside the distance and has never been knocked out in 23 pro outings.
