One Championship Bolsters April 21 ‘Kings of Destiny’ Card With Slate of New Bouts

One Championship has significantly bolstered its “Kings of Destiny” line-up.

In addition to the previously announced 170-pound title main event between champion Eduard Folayang and Ev Ting, on Monday, the promotion revealed a large slate of bouts for the company's return to the Philippines: popular Filipino wushu artist Kevin Belingon takes on Finland's Toni Tauru; 18-year-old Christian Lee returns from his first career defeat, facing another athlete with a famous fighting sibling, Keanu Subba; undefeated prospect Jeremy Miado will make his One Championship debut against fellow Filipino Robin Catalan and Brazilian jiu-jitsu world champion Michelle Nicolini heads back into the cage against unbeaten Russian Irina Mazepa.

“In addition to the highly-anticipated matchup between local hero Eduard Folayang and top lightweight Ev Ting, One Championship has confirmed a handful of compelling bouts between Asia’s top superstars set to take place inside the One cage on fight night,” said One Championship CEO Victor Cui in a press release. “Fans will not want to miss all the action that goes down in Manila, as we are already gearing up for an absolutely electrifying evening of world-class mixed martial arts.”

One Championship also announced the following bouts for the bill: Filipino fighters Danny Kingad and Eugene Toquero meet Malaysia's Muhammad Aiman and Stefer Rahardian; Cambodian Khun Khmer practitioner Chan Rothana faces 19-year-old Chinese fighter Xie Bin and Gina Iniong battles Natalie Gonzales Hills.

“Kings of Destiny” takes place on April 21 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Metro Manila and will air live in North America via online pay-per-view.
