Reant Fabriza Rainir vs. Agilan Thani

Round 1

Thani lands an overhand right and charges into an easy takedown, putting Rainir on his back. Rainir tries to scramble up, but gets flipped over easily with an underhook and gives up full mount almost instantaneously. The “Alligator” goes to work with heavy punches on top. The Indonesian fighter tries to push off the fence with his feet, but winds up trapped as he scrambles himself out of position, his legs away from the fence and belly down. Thani keeps smashing away with elbows and punches until referee Joey Lepiten steps in to call it.

Chan Rothana vs. Ramon Gonzales

Round 1

Gonzales rips off a spinning hook kick to start the bantamweight contest, but is knocked off balance by Rothana, who dives on him with hammerfists, then sets up in full guard. Gonzalez uses a single butterfly hook to elevate Rothana and sweep to top, moving into half guard. Rothana throws his hips up, targeting an omoplata, but tries for an armar despite having no real angle for it. Gonazles easily escapes and gets back to his feet. In the clinch, referee Olivier Coste warns both men for grabbing the fence and the shorts, before breaking the pair apart and resetting them. Gonzales launches another spinning hook kick and ends up on the ground once more. In the fracas, he spins for a leglock and tries to cinch an Achilles lock on the Cambodian. Gonzales stays married to the idea of a leglock, and in turn, winds up eating a series of hammerfists. Rothana stands and pounds further, but Gonzales refuses to let go of his ankle. Rothana amateurishly flops his way into full mount against the novice Gonzales and goes to work. Punches, then short elbows, then another salvo of hooks from mount leaves the Filipino defenseless, and Coste swoops in to rescue him.

Kirstie Gannaway vs. April Osenio

Round 1

senio leads with a side thrust kick upstairs and a punch rush, but Gannaway corrals her and drives her across the cage, into the fence. Gannaway has over-unders and looks for a takedown, but appears to pull guard instead. Her advantage over Osenio on the ground is obvious, as Osenio doesn't straighten her body out whatsoever, allowing Gannaway to slide from the bottom of half guard, sit up and take her back with ease. Osenio gives up full mount instead, but after getting her ears boxed for a moment, gives her back up again. Gannaway locks in a rear-naked choke very briefly, but Osenio manages to break her grip and sweep to top position. Osenio tries to punch from above, but Gannaway kicks her away. When the Singapore native tries to stand, Osenio soccer kicks her square in the face and rushes her again, but Gannaway gets her wits back, tackling Osenio to the mat and right back into full mount. Osenio turns once more, giving up her back with two minutes to go. Gannaway digs her left arm in for the choke again, but can't lock it up. Osenio bucks and rolls once more, escaping to top again, but she winds up in an armbar, with Gannaway going belly down. The Filipina fighter is able to hold out until the bell rings.

Round 2

Osenio shows more standup aggression, landing an oblique kick then a series of hooks on Gannaway, who struggles to block the flurries of Osenio. Gannaway lands a clean straight right on the kicking Osenio, but can't press the momentary advantage. Gannaway lands an inside leg kick and a hard right cross, then repeats the combo moments later, scoring again. They come together in the clinch and Osenio inexplicably grabs a headlock on the better grappler. Gannaway flops straight to her back, then hips up and easily takes Osenio's back once more. This time, the rear-naked choke is instantaneous and deep. Osenio fights it, Gannaway pounds away for a moment, re-establishes her grip and forces the tap.

Gianni Subba vs. Thanh Vu

Round 1

Subba begins aggressively with a one-two and a hard low kick. Vu feels emboldened by his opponent's attack and tries to answer back, chasing him down with both hands. Subba coolly retreats, then lands a clean, devastating left hook that puts “Aladdin” flat on his face. Vu recovers fairly quickly, but it's not fast enough: the Malaysian is on him in a heartbeat with a crushing soccer kick and four extra right hands before referee Olivier Coste can intervene. Beautiful and brutal knockout by Gianni Subba.

Ev Ting vs. Cary Bullos

Round 1

Bullos feints a takedown and lands a lunging hook on Ting, but somehow, Ting eats it admirably and returns fire. Bullos comes back with a Superman punch moments later that makes contact, then switches to the southpaw stance. They come together in a clinch and Ting drives his man to the fence, but Bullos uses his underhook to circle off the cage and escape. Head kick by Ting is partially blocked. Each man lands a quick right hook. Ting lands another glancing head kick and initiates another clinch, with each man having over-unders. Neither can advance position, so referee Joey Lepiten splits them. Ting winds up another heavy kick and Bullos lands a left hook. A right body kick lands for Ting. Ting continues to have effective forward pressure, but Bullos is sneaking in clean counter shots. The pace slows a touch during the final minute, with Ting moving forward, touching his target with body kicks.

Adriano Moraes vs. Asuka Mikami

Round 1

The southpaw Mikami launches a left hook off of Moraes' first leg kick. From his rigid, flat-footed stance, Mikami unloads with both hands whenever Moraes approaches. Moraes lands a clean right head kick, but “Riku Shibuya” eats it and fires back. Moraes wisely changes levels and dumps Mikami along the fence and fortunately for him, Mikami makes a critical mistake, moving to the turtle position against the swift Moraes. Moraes dives on his back and tries to sink his hooks in, but he can only get one in as Mikami gets to his feet. Inexplicably, referee Olivier Coste splits them up quickly with Moraes still trying to climb on Mikami's face from the rear waistlock. On the restart, Mikami charges Moraes, first eating a flying knee, then getting taken down again with a double-leg takedown. He winds up having his back taken again, but this time, Moraes sinks both hooks and controls his opponent in the middle of the cage. Mikami keeps rolling and trying to shake the champion, eventually breaking through the body triangle and getting back to his feet with 60 seconds to go in the round. Mikami goes back to stalking Moraes, but neither man lands another significantly before the round ends.

Round 2

Moraes corks “Riku Shibuya” with a quick overhand right as the Japanese fighter stalks forward. The Brazilian circles until Mikami chases him, then runs him into the fence, locks his hands and gets a double. Mikami once more opts to scramble to his knees and once more ends up getting his back taken. He escapes the position, but Moraes lands a knee to the head before they separate. Clean front kick from Mikami. Moraes kicks high and Mikami kicks low, tripping the champion to the mat for a brief second. Mikami probes the distance with low kicks. Moraes rushes him with right hands and tries to find another takedown along the fence, to no avail. Mikami lands three quick punches on an advancing “Mikinho,” Moraes lands a hard right, but the Japanese fighter keeps right on punching until Moraes is forced to shoot for another takedown. The challenger looks to have rattled Moraes a bit. Moraes gets a rear waistlock along the cage and tries to haul Mikami to the mat, but “Riku Shibuya” gets away with an obvious fence grab that goes unmentioned by referee Olivier Coste. Coste does, however, break the action up moments later while Mikami goes for a standing kimura on Moraes. Coste then calls for a short break to cut some excess tape off of Moraes' glove moments later. Upon the restart, the final 20 seconds tick down with neither man landing clean.

Round 3

Mikami stalks Moraes patiently for the first 45 seconds, tagging him with a nice knee when Moraes shoots. But, as we've seen repeatedly, Moraes gets a takedown, Mikami exposes his back, then sets about working his way back to his feet. Mikami uses a kimura to return standing, but is quickly taken down from the body lock. Mikami stands up along the fence once more, but Moraes sweeps his leg out and drives him to the mat. As he works to pass guard, Olivier Coste steps in and warns Moraes about headbutting, and predictably, when Coste restarts the contest, Mikami scrambles back up. He lands a jab, then a right hook. He staves off a Moraes takedown and launches a head kick, but it only allows the Brazilian to put him on the deck once more. Moraes continues trying to trip Mikami to the mat and take his back, but can't quite get there. With a minute to go, Moraes gets a hard crossface with one hook sunk in, but can't quite it. Mikami shakes him off of his back and gets on top with just over 30 seconds to go in the round. Short left hands from Mikami land, but they don't have much steam. Moraes jumps up just before the third-round bell and almost eats a head kick from Mikami.

Round 4

Quick punching combination for “Riku Shibuya” lands, but Moraes responds with a clean right hand. Mikami launches a low kick that hits Moraes' cup, so Olivier Coste calls time. Moraes just uses a few short seconds before the bout resumes and his challenger goes back to walking him down with his rigid southpaw stance. Right head kick from Mikami is blocked, then Moraes tags him with a one-two and a right body kick before shooting in for another takedown. The Constrictor Team fighter ducks under Mikami's arm, goes behind and looks for another back mount attempt. Mikami swivels his hips back around and escapes. Moraes has another takedown stuffed but Mikami is struggling to land heavy strikes now. He rushes Moraes and lands a left hook, but can't follow up. Moraes launches a flying switch kick to close the distance, then shoots another takedown. He elevates and slams Mikami, taking his back once more. Mikami escapes to the top, but he now has a flowing cut around his left eyebrow, leaving a puddle of blood on the mat and prompting another pause from Olivier Coste. On the restart, Mikami lands some brief ground-and-pound before the stanza ends.

Round 5

Mikami throws a left cross down the center off of a Moraes low kick, but hits only air. Moraes initiates a clinch, has a takedown stuffed, then eats a knee to the groin from Mikami. Olivier Coste steps in to pause the action again, but Moraes just needs 30 seconds or so before resuming his title defense. Moraes slips in a sneaky right head kick. With just over three minutes to go, the crowd boos as Moraes stays on his bicycle and circles away from his man. Coste calls for a brief pause to take some excess tape off of Mikami's glove; curiously, Coste tries to bite it off with his teeth before sanity prevails and he asks for a pair of scissors from outside the cage. Upon the umpteenth restart, it's the same scenario unfolding: Moraes shoots, gets a takedown, gets the back briefly, then Mikami scrambles to top position. The Japanese challenger gets 20 seconds of quality ground-and-pound in, but Moraes kicks him away and stands with just over a minute to go. Mikami stalks the champion to no avail, not landing the power shots he needs as the bout draws to a close. Just before the final bell, Moraes launches a cartwheel kick which makes slight contact with Mikami's gut and knocks him off balance. After 25 minutes, Sherdog.com sees the fight for the champion, Adriano Moraes.

Round 1

Abbas jabs her way to Osman, but eats leg kicks on her approach. As Osman tries to clinch, Abbas fires recklessly with both hands to ward her off. Osman lands a good right hand in another exchange, but is wary of throwing hands wildly. Abbas lands a clean one-two that has Osman lunging for another clinch. Osman gets Abbas back to the fence and eventually changes levels, dumping Abbas on the mat and quickly stepping over into back control. Abbas tries to scramble up and Osman slips off her back, but she quickly resinks her hooks while cinching up a rear-naked choke. Abbas flops belly down and the Malaysian tightens the choke even further. It's academic from here and Abbas taps moments later.

Peter Davis vs. Rajinder Singh Meena

Round 1

Davis looks to attack and Meena slips on the first strike he throws. He tries to roll into a takedown attempt, but Davis sprawls, locks up a front headlock, then forces his way to top position. Meena shows his back and Davis easily takes his back and begins boxing his ears in pursuit of a rear-naked choke. Meena turns back over and gives up full mount, with the Malaysian bashing him with both hands the whole way. Davis is in complete control now, with Meena offering nothing. Davis creeps up to a higher mount, gift wraps Meena's own right arm over his face and unloads a final salvo of uncontested elbows that forces Olivier Coste to intervene.
