Nogueira Tops UFC Fight Night 24 Salaries with $90K Payday

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira may have lost to Phil Davis at UFC Fight Night 24 last Saturday, but the veteran light heavyweight still walked away with the biggest purse of the night.

According to figures released Monday by the Washington State Department of Licensing, Nogueira (Pictured) pocketed $90,000 for his unanimous decision loss, nearly three times the $34,000 Davis earned for his win inside Seattle’s KeyArena.

Davis doubled his $17,000 base pay with an additional $17,000 win bonus. However, the WSDOL’s numbers not take into account any discretionary “locker room” bonuses which a promoter may issue, such as “Knockout,” “Submission” and “Fight of the Night.”

Other high earners on the card included Johny Hendricks, who took home $44,000 for his 95-second knockout of T.J. Waldburger ($8,000); Anthony Johnson, who netted $40,000 for co-main event decision win over Dan Hardy ($25,000); and Amir Sadollah, who earned $40,000 for forcing DaMarques Johnson ($14,000) to submit to second-round elbow strikes.
